"Possessor of a wonderous voice that can sing just about any song there is, Linhardt is an absolute wonder, a vocalist with an amazing range and expressiveness.  She's no mere technician either, this is a voice that radiates beauty and sweetness as it soars high and far with each note."

Christina Linhardt has enjoyed an eclectic and versatile career as a concert singer, cross-over artist, actress and dancer, working steadily throughout Southern California and Germany. She is most known for her "Classics to Cabaret" act (which was the headliner for the opening of the Grand Concert Hall Parksalle in Saxony, Germany), and her independently produced solo cds, "Circus Sanctuary" and "Voodoo Princess" (both of which have "passed" into the Adult Contemporary commercial radio scene for holiday airplay.)

For the 2010 Los Angeles Opera Ring Festival, Ms. Linhardt was contracted for two concerts premiering several new musical compositions written for her.  In the same year she became a recommended chanteuse for the coveted  Southern California Chamber Music Consortium.

Christina had the privilege of revealing  classical singing at the World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle where she has performed Puccini and Lehar arias in conjunction with magic and variety acts (namely "The Razor Blade Tango" with Albie Selznick of The Mums).  Furthering this new collaboration, she experienced the distinct  honor of traveling down to Guantanamo Bay , Cuba with the VampHear Circus to sing for the soldiers and families stationed there.  She has also given numerous new music concerts in conjunction with Cirque Du Soleil performers.

In Los Angeles, she is the official national anthem singer for the German Consulate, and represents Berlin every year at the Los Angeles Sister Cities Festival.  She was invited to perform her solo cabaret act for the 20 year celebration of the collapse of the Berlin Wall at the legendary House of Blues Gospel Brunch. Her "rich voice" (LA Weekly) has also been featured in such Los Angeles venues as the historic Cinegrill, LA County Museum of Art, World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle, Cinema Under the Stars Film Festival (Bergamot Station), the Atlas-Wiltern Building, the  Sunset Strip's acclaimed Keyclub, the Wilshire Ebell, and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

Ms. Linhardt had the honor to perform for Cardinal Mahony during the first Christmas season of the new Los Angeles Cathedral, as the  solo Golden Angel.  The Singing Golden Angel act has continued on to become a favorite at corporate parties.

At present she is collaborating on neo-medieval music  with Carol Tatum, creator of  The Angel's of Venice ensemble. She was the soprano soloist on two of the Angel's of Venice cds; "Sanctus" and "Ancient Delerium".  Current recording projects involve collaborations with "Spinal Tap" producer CJ Vanston  (with a cameo track by "Toto" guitarist Steve Lukather).

As a dancer Christina traveled solo into remote regions of Western and Southern Africa to absorb grass-roots customary rhythms and dances, often learning directly from local villagers. She was managing director of the Open Gate Theatre Ensemble, Eastern and Butoh influenced dances, utilizing an unusual form of puppetry. She currently  performs ethnic dances  professionally with the Gypsy  Folk Ensemble.

Christina Linhardt began her career in music as a child flute player sitting as first flute in the Jr. Philharmonic of California, the All-Southern-California-Honor-Band, and as principal flute for the Meremblum California Jr. Symphony. (As an orchestral player she shared the stage with a variety of performers including Wierd Al Jankovich, Richard Simmons, Al Jerraeu and Buddy Ebson) In her late teens her focus shifted from flute to theatrical singing.

She studied acting and movement at Oxford University in England, French at the Eurocentre in Paris, German at the Goethe Institute in Berlin and received a bachelors of music in vocal arts from USC, with a minor in theatre arts. As an actress Ms. Linhardt appeared opposite Oscar-Winner Maximilian Schell in "Faust Comes to Grand Avenue" with the Los Angeles Opera. She also has a prolific career as a variety entertainer specializing in clown and miming (she was the 23rd King of the Fool's Guild), and founded the New Renaissance Folk ensemble Mad Spirit, which was created to compliment "Young & the Restless" Star Eric Braeden during his evenings of Shakespeare monologues.

Following her college graduation Ms. Linhardt stepped off the stage and into the role of producer, winning the LA Weekly Production of the Year award as Associate Producer for the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's "The Greeks". (Other producing credits at the Odyssey include the LA Premiere of Mark Medoff's "Gila", "Good Woman of Szechuan" and "Brecht on Brecht")
Being interested in the documentary arts, she served on the International Documentary Association's 2010 screening committee for DocuWeeks and IDA awards.

As well as performing, education is a prime focus for Christina. She gave voice lessons to Grammy Award Winner Dawn Robinson of En Vogue, is a trained theater therapist for the Imagination Workshop, a program that works with psychiatric patients and the criminally insane, focusing on healing through creativity and play, and has worked with At-Risk youth in Juvenile lockup facilities. Hobbies include skydiving, streetfighting (Krav Maga) and volunteering for TreePeople's speaker's bureau.
